Turkey Dash 5-K draws 58 runners

The Montana Athletic Club helped local charities by putting on a fun-run for 58 runners.

The Turkey Dash 5K was organized by M.A.C. trainer Sarah Murphy, with proceeds going to the Libby Diabetes “Prevent” program, intended to help those suffering and at rish from diabetes.

The cost for runners was $15 early registration, $20 late, and $25 for teams of five.

The winning man was Steve Bandemer and winning woman was Katie Larson, they each won $25 gift certificates to a running store in Missoula.

The costume contest winner was Cody Pate. All the winners won $25 gift cards.

People who registered early paid $15, late $20 and teams of five $25.

The runners used chips tied to their laces, making for accurate and efficient timing for all participants.
