Tree of Life to be held Nov. 30 at LCC

| November 20, 2012 3:01 PM

The staff and volunteers of Home Options Hospice are delighted to announce that their annual Hospice Tree of Life will be held on Friday, Nov. 30   at 7 p.m. at the Libby Christian Church.

The tradition of the Tree of Life lighting and memorial was begun by Kootenai Volunteer Hospice in 1988, transitioning to St. John’s Hospice in 2000 when those services became Medicare certified.

Tree of Life is a genuinely meaningful memorial celebration that offers people an opportunity to reach out to friends and family who are missing loved ones at the holiday season.

For a donation of $10 or more, hospice will send a lovely angel ornament commemorating the year to the person or persons the donor designates.

This year the hospice services became a part of Home Options, a part of Kalispell Regional Healthcare.

Thanks to the community’s time-honored support for hospice care for our most gravely ill individuals, and to Home Options’ more than 25 years of experience in providing those services, the transition has been a smooth one.
