Sharon Olson, 74, of Libby

Sharon Olson of Libby passed away at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Wash., on Friday, April 20, 2012.

Sharon was born July 31, 1937. 

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Earl C. Olson in 2006. 

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. 

She enjoyed gardening, art and homemaking. 

She is survived by her children, Teri (Dave) Davis of Big Piney Wyo., Donald Olson of Miles City, Mont., Charlie (Tammy) Olson of Cut Bank Mont., Gene (Tara) Olson of Parachute Colo., Katrina (Gerald) Getz of Libby. 

Grandchildren include Corey and Kevin Smith, Samantha, Chance, Kale and Stacia Olson, Tristen and Logan Olson, Marcel and Colton Getz. 

Great-grandchildren include Tia and Tabby Smith. 

Also surving is a sister, Sheila (Ron) Gilbert, a brother, Meldon Peterson, and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

There was an informal gathering for family and friends at Fireman’s Park in Libby on Wednesday, April 25.
