Grand Opening
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hanson called their grand opening celebration at the Trustworthy Store in Troy Saturday a great success and the biggest business day since they took over from Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schoonmaker on Oct. 19. The Hansons lived at Libby for more than 10 years before buying the store in Troy. They came to Libby in 1961 from Malta, where Hanson had been employed in lumberyard and hardware store work. Before moving to Troy, Hanson was a clerk at the St. Regis retail department store. Photo from the Feb. 10, 1972, files of The Western News.
