Cabinet View FSA resident responds to Letter by LVA board member
Letter to the Editor,
This letter is in response to a letter sent by Richard Wernham, LVA Board Member.
This letter was a joy to read and music to my ears. This letter is evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt what CVFD has been saying all along. The leadership of LVA needs to tell the truth to Mr. Wernham.
Mr. Wernham’s information about my visit to LVA, over a year ago, came from Penny Kyes, LVA’s Business Manager; and she knows that the truth of my visit went like this:
Penny Kyes knows full well that when I visited LVA I was not alone, as I was accompanied by my husband, Russ Bache, who is captain of CVFD’s Medical Unit, a CVFD firefighter, a Montana Wildland firefighter, a CVFD EMT first responder, one of CVFD’s excellent medical-unit trainers and an all around honorable man.
Penny Kyes knows full well that the only piece of paper that was in my hand that day was a friendly invitation to a neighborhood pancake breakfast being hosted by CVFD’s Auxiliary Group.
This invitation was for her and her colleagues to come and discuss the serious issues between the Lincoln County Commissioners, LVA, Libby Sheriff’s Dispatch, Libby Fire and CVFD.
Penny Kyes knows full well that neither one of us had in our possession a mutual-aid agreement of any kind and that neither one of us demanded her to do anything but have an adult conversation about very serious issues.
This letter tells me that (people) have no qualms, at all, giving false information to not only the citizens of this county, but also to her very own board members.
Why is the other side of this ‘Dissolving’ CVFSA issue and then, by doing so, dissolving CVFD as well, doing all this misleading? Why are they trying so hard to destroy the good name of CVFD’s Fire Chief, Dan Leavell?
I will and I can testify that is for two reasons and two reasons only, namely power and money
Dan Leavell on the other hand is leading CVFD in this fight for one reason and one reason only, namely, to lead CVFD onward to be as excellent as they can be so that they can serve and protect their neighbors as they deserve and pay for.
