Sewing Boot Camp is slated for August

Kootenai Valley Quilt Guild is sponsoring the 3rd Annual Sewing Boot Camp.  

Boys and girls in the fourth- through the eighth-grade are invited.  Students learn basic sewing techniques, including use of sewing machines and hand needles.  

They make three or more projects during their 12-hour camp.  Each student’s creativity makes their projects unique and awesome.

This year “beyond beginner” students may also register.  Our teachers and assistants will work on projects that will challenge these students.  

Or a non-beginner has a project of their own, and would like to bring it in to work on can contact Marge Kroeger, 293-3584.

Sewing Boot Camp is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 6 to 9.  

The maximum campers are 12 so sign up early.  The fee for the camp is $15.
