Generia Stutsman, 89, of Libby

Generia Stutsman, 89, passed away May 24, 2012, at Libby Care Center. 

She was born Aug. 27, 1922, to Neil and Stella Beasley at Baines Lake, British Columbia, Canada. The family moved to Warland and later to Libby. 

During her life she lived in Spokane, Portland, and retired in Libby.

Generia was a member of the Medora Rebekah Lodge No. 53. She enjoyed fishing on Lake Koocanusa for silvers and Crystal Lake for perch. 

Generia was also known for her time spent in the kitchen baking cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies and carrot cake. 

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Wilda Vander Voorden, of Libby; daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Henry Garcia, of McAllan, Texas; and Joyce and Bill Baeth, of Spokane, Wash.; two brothers Louis Beasley, of Moscow, Idaho, and Robert and Gloria Beasley, of Bull Lake, Mont.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Stella Beasley; three sisters, Norma Beardsley, Ethel Lamorie, and Louise Mitchell; two brothers, Ron and George Beasley.

A memorial service is being planned at a later date.
