Reader disappointed in Obama's stand on same-sex marriage

Letter to the Editor,

It is hard to explain how disappointed my wife and I were last week when our U.S. President, Barack Obama, called a news conference to announce that he was in agreement for same-sex marriages. 

Not only did that news conference air here in America, but also worldwide.

We are ashamed of his announcement supporting same sex marriage.

Our country was founded on God’s principles. 

And because of that, we have been a nation greatly blessed.

Here is the truth: God created male and female. He created marriage. He designed it. He blesses it. And when a man and woman are united in marriage they become husband and wife and God sees them as one. 

Man cannot change what God has perfected. 

May God continue to bless your marriage as husband and wife.
