Osborn is acting Three-Rivers ranger

Kootenai Forest Supervisor Paul Bradford announced that Alan Osborn, who is the district fire management officer on the Cabinet Ranger District, will be the Acting District Ranger on the Three Rivers District.

Osborn, who is already in the position, fills in behind Linda Ellett-Fee, who retired in late June.

 “We expect this acting assignment to continue until the Three Rivers District Ranger position is filled permanently,” Bradford said. “Right now the plan is to have a replacement on-board sometime this fall.”
