Rhonda and Barry Aikins of Cut Bank, Mont., would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Jane Aikins, to George Blaine Mercer, son of Kim and Gerry Mercer of Libby, Mont.
The bride-to-be is a Cut Bank High School graduate, and graduated University of Montana in 2010 with a degree in Communication and Sociology. She is employed as a financial planning assistant at Ameriprise Financial and lives in Libby.
The groom-to-be is a Libby graduate, also graduating from University of Montana in 2010, with a degree in Business-Finance, and is an Analyst and Loan Officer at Glacier Bank.
The couple plans to hold their wedding at Cut Bank Golf Course in Cut Bank, Mont. on Aug. 4.
Terry Andreeseen is the officiating minister, and the couple plans to live in Libby after they are married.
