Rooses celebrate Golden Anniversary

The children and grandchildren of Kent and Marianne Roose congratulate the couple on 50 years together.  

Kent Roose and Marianne Burk Roose were married in Eureka, Mont., on July 14, 1962.  

They raised three children, Jeana (Roose) King of Bellingham, Wash., Brent Roose of Eureka, and Josh Roose of Missoula, Mont. 

The couple has nine grandchildren.  

Kent and Marianne are both lifelong Tobacco Valley residents.  

Kent is a retired logging/lumber truck driver and Marianne is currently serving in her 16th year as a Lincoln County Commissioner and will be retiring Dec. 31.
