David A. Amos, 57, of Libby

Beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather, David Arthur Amos fought a seven-year fight with cancer, and though he lost the battle, he won the victory. 

On July 8, at the age of 57, he went to be home with the Lord.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. — II Timothy 4:7.

He died at home with his wife by his side. He has lived in Montana since 1999,  and he married Michele March in 2006. 

He was preceded in death by both of his parents.

He is survived by his wife Michele, sisters Linda (Ronnie) Mays, Cheryle Amos and Susan Amos, all of Libby.

Children include Dusty (Laura) Amos of Bend, Ore., Kaydee Amos of Libby, Margaret (Rick) Meyer of Spokane, Wash., Anthony and Mitchel of Libby, and Brittane of Spokane, Wash.

Grandchildren include Gavin, Wyatt, Jazmine and soon to come Blake.

His cousins who were brothers include Terry, Tim, Randy, Kenny and Kevin, and Debbie that was a sister. All their families and many friends will miss him.

The viewing was Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home 422 W 2nd St., Libby.

The Memorial service will be at the Family Worship Center, 2043 Highway 37, N. Libby, Saturday July 14, starting at 11 a.m., luncheon to follow.
