June 26
• Caller reported theft of firewood near Upper Dam Flower Creek.
• Caller reported a man living in the woods behind Rosauers and near the cemetery. City crew was advised to tear down makeshift shack.
• Complaint about a loud individual in the Chamber of Commerce parking lot.
June 27
• Reports of a female who had been drinking and driving in 2400 block of Kootenai River Road, wanted deputies to look into it.
• Caller reported two vintage gas-station pumps being stolen from the 31500 block of Highway 2.
July 2
• Caller reported her neighbor slapped her child while the child was playing at the neighbor’s house on Frazey Loop.
• David Robert James was arrested on a warrant for bad checks.
• Celeste Gregory was arrested on Highway 2 and Idaho on charges of possession of dangerous drugs.
July 3
• A caller reported seeing a deer with two broken legs on Highway 37 at mile marker three.
• A caller in the 1300 block of Rabbit O’Brien Creek Road reported that a wolf was blocking her driveway so she couldn’t leave.
• Caller complained of a horse and a mule near Highway 37 and mile-marker two.
• Nichole Garcia was arrested on charges of DUI near Bobtail Road.
July 4
• Jeremy Beske was arrested on an outstanding warrant on 9th and Minnesota.
• Caller advised a driver between Libby and Troy driving a newer model Ford Fusion was driving at a very high rate of speed.
• Complaint of fireworks in the 200 block of Larch in Libby.
• Kristafer Lee Gentry, 26, was arrested on a DUI charge at Jack’s Café and Highway 2 in Troy.
• Caller in 300 block of Norman Avenue complained that his neighbors were playing with fireworks close to his pickup truck. He felt it was a hazard due to the proximity of the gas tank,
July 5
• Christopher A. Hoffman was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass in 300 block of Fifth Street.
• Caller reported suspicious activity at the preschool on Conifer Road. All lights were on at 3 a.m.
• Caller complained of a pony loose in the 200 block of Glenwood Lane.
• 911 burglary call in 2600 Kootenai River Road. Caller reported back window busted out and was not sure whether someone was still inside.
• Caller in 200 block of Cox Lane reported a suspect who stole tools and then forged checks in his name.
July 6
• Connie Bache, 49, was arrested for grand-theft auto of a white 1994 Mercury Sable.
-Lisa Edwards, 23, was arrested on two outstanding warrants at Cripple Horse.
-Caller in 500 block of Park Street reported that he realized his generator was stolen and on sale in a pawnshop.
-A black and grey Dodge with a camper and Idaho plates left Mac’s Market without paying for gas.
-Caller reported a speedboat at Crystal Lake driving recklessly with children in it.
-Daniel Dolan, 33, arrested on probation violation.
-Motorcycle doing wheelies on Highway 2 in front of McDonalds.
-Troy Police Department advised they had Christopher Hoffman, 21, on possession of dangerous drugs and DUI.
July 7
-Loud fireworks near Cabinet View G.C. at 1:30 a.m.
-A loud, drunk group of campers were setting off fireworks until 3:30 a.m. and threatened other campers. When police responded, one suspect went and hid in woods.
-Tall, blonde female was walking down the middle of the Kootenai Bridge and appeared intoxicated.
-Caller and wife from Timber Lane reported being assaulted.
-Marcie Bachteler arrested on a DUI charge,
July 8, 2012
-Caller in 200 block of Milnor Lake Road reported having painkillers stolen from her residence.
-Caller reported a suspicious person on Highway 2 by the green dumpsters taking a “modified Weaver stance,” and thought person was pointing weapon at them.
-Daniel Marozzo was arrested in contempt of court.
-Andrew Rode turned himself in for probation violation.
-Caller reported a bear peeking in her window in the 700 block of Lower Granite Creek Road.
