Betty Pennock, 75, of Libby

Betty Lou Pennock, 75, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2012, at her home in Libby with family at her side.  

She was born on Dec. 7, 1936, at Georgetown, Texas, the daughter of Clifford and Lois (Gholson) Case. 

She enjoyed life, the outdoors, cooking, fishing, and most of all the joys of spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, her first husband, and one step-grandson.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Al Pennock, sons Duane and Julie Volkenand, Dean and Faith Volkenand, all of Libby; David and Anastazia Volkenand, Hayden, Idaho; and one daughter and her husband, Texas; eight grandchildren, 5½ great-grandchildren; stepchildren Patty and Rick Duane, Larry and Toni Pennock, Donnie and Carol Pennock, Randy and Cherie Pennock, seven step-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. 

Private family services are being held per Betty’s wishes.  

Arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory in Libby.
