Daniel E. Jordan 52, formerly of Libby

Daniel Evan Jordan, 52, of Roberts, went to join God early Friday, Jan. 6, 2012.  Dan died of a heart attack while working at a drilling site near Douglas, Wyo.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1959, in Red Lodge, Mont., a son of Lewis T. and Elvina M. (Obert) Jordan.

Dan married Debbie Little Boy (O’Shea) on May 6, 1982, and they had four children; Andrew Lewis, Evan Michael, Danielle Lynn and Lyle Ernest. 

They raised their family while living in Libby. 

Daniel enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and various other outdoor activities.  He enjoyed taking his family on vacations, camping trips and bringing family together. 

In June 2007, Dan returned to Red Lodge to help care for his father during his last years.  During this time Dan was blessed to meet and fall in love with Nadine Falagan.

During their time together they enjoyed spontaneous outdoor activities and shared a vacation to Egypt.

Daniel enjoyed every breath of life with his family and friends and will be forever missed.  We will remember you every time we look into the sky.

He was preceded in death by his infant brother Andrew B., his oldest son Andrew Lewis, and his father Lewis T. Jordan.

Survivors include his two sons, Evan Michael and Lyle Ernest; his daughter Danielle Lynn; his mother Elvina M. Jordan; his love Nadine Falagan; two brothers, Thomas Jordan and Rick Waples; one sister, Margaret Horne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Red Lodge. 

Cremation has taken place, and interment will be in the Red Lodge Cemetery. 

Smith-Olcott Funeral Chapel of Red Lodge is in charge of arrangements. 

Memorials may be given to the charity of one’s choice.
