Jackie Hare has been appointed as Libby Care Center’s Admissions and Marketing Director.

Officials at Libby Care Center, a 101-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center located at 308 East Third Ave., made the announcement last week.

Hare, a registered nurse (RN), will work with case managers, discharge planners, physicians and other medical and community-based referral sources to meet their needs and the needs of their patients. She will work to ensure that all patient referrals are responded to promptly and conduct on-site patient evaluations to ensure a smooth, convenient admission for the patient and his/her family.

Additionally, Hare will lead the center’s marketing, public relations and community support initiatives.

Hare has an impressive health-care background, and she has worked in many settings across the country.

Hare has worked at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby for 17 years, and served as the hospital’s Vice President of Nursing prior to moving to Whitefish. Hare returned to Libby two years ago and joined the team at Libby Care Center where she worked as a nurse before assuming her new position.

Hare has been married for 35 years and has two children.

“I’m excited about my new role, and I look forward to continuing to help our center to grow and excel. We have a wonderful team of caring people here,” she said.
