Darrylyn J. Ninneman 59, of Libby

Darrylyn Jean “Darri” Ninneman, 59 of Libby, Mont., passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Hospital in Libby.

Darri was born July 7, 1952, in Springfield, Ill. Darri attended school and lived most of her young life in San Dimas, Calif.

Darri married her high school sweetheart Allyn Buff in 1972, and they had three children. 

The family moved to Libby in 1979.  The couple divorced in 1984 but remained friends ever since.

On July 7, 1990, Darri married Bruce Ninneman. They enjoyed gardening and spending time together until Bruce’s death in 2006.

Darri was preceded in death by her father, Nelson Stockrahm; her mother and step-father, James and Jean Eagle; and her husband, Bruce.

She is survived by her daughters, Cyndi Miller and husband Joe of Libby, Paula Buff of Seattle and Lynda Buff of Libby; her sisters, Carole Stockrahm of Vale, Ore., and Kathy Lucas and husband Greg of Newark, Calif.; and four granddaughters, Natesha, Tiahna, Shalen and Dustina and numerous nieces and nephews.

Darri will be remembered for her big smile, kind heart, outrageous sense of humor and contagious laughter.

Darri was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all. She will be deeply missed. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.
