NORCO Libby Service Representative, Lisa Hinchman, right, recently presented St. John’s Hospice Volunteer Coordinator, Laura Sedler, with a check for $500.

The contribution was made by the Kissler Family Foundation in support of the Hospice Tree of Life.

The annual event was held Dec. 2 at the Memorial Center.

More than 200 community members attended the Tree of Life Ceremony, where names of loved ones were called out accompanied by the ringing of a bell and lighting of a light on the tree.

St. John’s Hospice has partnered with NORCO since 2000 to provide needed medical equipment to patients and families receiving hospice care in the Libby and Troy communities.

The Kissler Family Foundation has supported Hospice Tree of Life since 2003.
