Dec. 18
• Several city ordinance violations were reported and cited when a snowplow could not plow properly on Lincoln Avenue.
• A highly intoxicated male was reporting a female had struck him in the back with a fire poker at Terrace View.
• Caller on Highway 2 reported two suspicious males walking out of his yard, he followed them until an officer cleared them.
• The front half of a moose was found. A call was left with Fish, Wildlife & Parks.
• Caller on Callahan Creek Road reported a vicious dog attack on the caller’s Chihuahua. The smaller dog went to surgery.
• Caller in the 1100 block of Nevada Avenue reported a dog bit his brother’s arm. Its owner was not home.
Dec. 19
• A Stinger official called the sheriff’s office reporting an overdue aircraft.
• Caller on Halo Court reported a man who had borrowed her son’s Playstation had not returned it.
Dec. 20
• A male blue heeler was lost by its owner on Montana Avenue.
• Several vehicles were removed in Libby and Troy when city crews requested they be towed.
• A man turned himself in on a warrant at the Sheriff’s Department. A name was not provided.
• An official at Libby High School requested a specific police officer to speak with him about a possible threat.
• A two-vehicle accident and fire was reported on Highway 2 near mile marker 22.
• Libby Elementary School reported some cracking trees across the street on Parmenter Hill South Curves.
• Caller on Ninth Street reported a disturbance in the apartments above her business.
• Troy dispatch received a call on Havenhill Lane about hearing a lone gunshot.
Dec. 21
• Vehicle on Fourth and Minnesota towed so snowplows could get by.
• A Bonneville Electric worker at the Libby Dam reported a suspicious dark blue Suburban near the David Thompson Bridge.
• An individual turned themselves in on a warrant. No name was provided.
• Trent Harley Thomson was arrested after a series of events on Vicks Lane involving alleged theft and domestic violence.
• A disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of California Avenue.
• Warrant received from Flathead County, they confirmed they had arrested the man.
Dec. 22
• A vehicle with the steering column punched out was stuck in the snow at the laundry mat across from Libby Sports.
• Katie Huggins was arrested on a warrant and transported down by Eureka Police Department.
• A caller reported a building in the 800 block of Mineral Avenue had been broken into again.
• A nearly dead deer was reported on the 600 block of Second Street. It was moved near the road for the road crew.
• A caller on Mt. Snowy Road reported a mountain lion had killed a deer at his in-law’s residence.
• A group of individuals were yelling in the area of Lincoln Boulevard and Louisiana Avenue.
Dec. 23
• Robin Lee Hurd, 61, was arrested in the Evergreen parking lot for DUI.
• A felled tree was blocking the road so several families could not get out of the neighborhood on Upper Flower Creek Road.
• A caller in the 400 block of Park Street reported someone had stolen the drive line out of his wife’s vehicle while he was incarcerated.
• Caller advised the county that part of Kootenai River Road is almost impassable. Seven inches of slush on the road was gumming up the wheels of cars. Several other messages were left.
• Several juveniles were apprehended after knocking over the nativity scene at the Catholic church. Their parents made them go back and reset the scene.
Dec. 24
• Caller hit a deer at mile marker two on Highway 37. There was minimal damage to his car, but he was not sure if the deer had survived.
• Caller at Libby Quik Lube reported a bike left behind his shop.
• A man brought in keys he found on Second Street across from the funeral home. The keys had a Dodge key with a Mercer Taxidermy flashlight attached.
• Darcy Carvey turned herself in on a warrant and was arrested.
• Caller at gas station told a man it was rude to park where he did. The man threatened the caller. He was driving a brown Tahoe.
• Caller on Woodland Road reported hearing what sounded like seven shots from a shotgun.
• A different caller on Woodland Road reported his wife’s ex-husband was calling and threatening him.
Dec. 25
• Caller on Spencer Hill Avenue called to report a woman yelling for help and a pitbull barking. When the officer got to the scene, he reported all was well at the address.
• A grey Pontiac Grand Prix was stuck in the snow on Lousiana and Cedar, and was towed out.
• Central monitoring location reported a possible burglary at Mac’s Market. The worker had simply grabbed the wrong key when deactivating the overnight security.
• Male hound dog came to an address on Quartz Road the night before. The residents had kept the reddish, 70-pound dog safe for the night before calling. No tags on his collar.
• Neighbor trespassing with snowmobile on her driveway and under cables he attached to her trees on Blue Mountain Road. He was shoveling snow onto her property.
• Citizens advised the beginning of Shaugnessy Road was very slick heading up the hill. Vehicles were sliding back.
• Caller in 1200 block of Nevada heard a loud verbal argument from a white house with a red roof. It was cleared as a verbal argument only.
• Warren Ferch, 62, was arrested for possible DUI after an employee at Town Pump refused to serve him alcohol.
• Caller on Kootenai River Road and Bobtail Road reported a missing hound dog. It had a collar and had been missing since the afternoon.
• Caller on 600 block of Michigan reported a chimney fire and requested LVFD to help.
Dec. 26
• A suspicious vehicle was lingering in the parking lot of the Venture Inn.
• An arrest was made of an individual for an outstanding warrant on a DUI. No name was provided.
• A city ordinance violation was cited in Libby. No further details were provided.
• Caller on Libby Creek Road reported being harrassed by his neighbor.
• A caller witnessed a man putting a small child in a car seat at Henry’s Restaurant and then shaking the seat violently.
• A caller on Highway 2 reported someone had shot several holes in their illuminated sign by the highway.
