Wrestling results: Tri-State/Buzz Lucey

Libby’s grapplers split up last weekend.

Four went to the Tri-State tournament in Coeur d’Alene that featured wrestlers from all over the Northwest.

The top finisher was senior Austin Bailey, who made it to the second day of the tournament. 

He was pinned by Zach Lowen, of McCall-Donnelly, in 1:09.

Hermiston High School, from Oregon, won the tournament. Libby finished 50th out of 64 teams.

Polson, Frenchtown and Bonners Ferry both edged Libby.

The Buzz Lucey tournament, in Eureka, was better for Greenchain.

Libby finished third, behind Columbia Falls and Whitefish.

Ty Height won the 112-pound division and Skylar Higareda won at 135.
