Letter to the Editor,

This spring, The Avid Gardeners collaborated with Lincoln County to beautify the entrance to J. Neils Park. 

With funds the Avid Gardeners raised throughout the season and matching funds from Lincoln County, plants were purchased and a landscaping plan was designed. With the help of Mark McCully and his crew, this plan was quickly implemented. 

This winter as the entrance to J. Neils Park is undergoing a major renovation, we would like to thank Mark and his crew for their effort in temporarily transplanting and mulching the Red Leaf Maple and all shrubs. Because we invested money and time into this project, we would have been very disappointed if these measures had not been taken. 

This act of goodwill insures that The Avid Gardeners will enjoy working with Lincoln County again in the future.
