Margaret Maxine Jones, 79, of Dublin, Va., passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on Nov. 11, 1933, in Libby and was the daughter of the late Margaret Skinner Eggert and Ernest Eugene Eggert.
She was a devoted wife, and mother to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Jubilee Christian Center in Fairlawn, Va., and was retired with 22 years of service as a fiscal technician in the business department at New River Community College.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Dee Jones.
She is survived by three sons, James Michael Jones of Pulaski, Va., Ronald Wayne Jones and his wife Sharon of Spokane, Wash., and Randy Scott Jones and his wife, Pamela, of Snowville, two daughters; Teresa Diana Sullivan of Dublin, Va., and Cheryl Lynn Turner and her husband Tony of Dublin, a brother; Eugene Gilbert Eggert of Spokane, Wash. Also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov., 29, 2012, . at the Jubilee Christian Center, 7331 Lee Highway in Fairlawn with Pastor Gary Hash officiating.
Interment followed in Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin, Va.
The family received friends Wednesday evening at Seagle Funeral Home from 5 until 7 p.m. Flowers were appreciated, but for those who wish, they may make memorial contributions to the Jubilee Christian Center P.O. Box 510 Pulaski, Va., 24301.
