Eighth-grader wins Runnerfell shirt design

The winning artist for 2012’s Youth Runnerfell race was Kaylene Hudson, who was in eighth grade at Libby Middle last year.

The race will take place at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7. Kaylene will receive her reward for the winning design, $50, T-shirt and various coupons from local businesses.

The runners up, Anna Carlson, Devon LaCoss, Tanner DeHaven. Ashley Walker, Cody Wood, Reed Christensen, Hailey Wallace, Niklaus Gier, Jacob Love and Alyssa Bales will receive two coupons to local businesses.

The honorable mention artists, Grace Noolin, Alee Julson, Lane Young, Gabriella Fantozzi, Kaylee Myers, Kyla Cady, Daunte Mesman, Rhiann Slenes and Braylin Brooks will also receive one coupon.

   There were 350 entries this year and the Runnerfell Committee would like to encourage even more participants next year.
