Parent meetings for fall athletes

A meeting for parents of Libby Middle School students who seek to play football is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the high school.

   Also at the high school on Tuesday, Aug. 21, there will be a free football clinic for students in the third through eighth grade. This session begins at 7 p.m. at the high school football field. It will also continue Wednesday evening as well.

   Football practice for LMS students begins Wednesday, Aug. 29, after school.

   Students must have a completed physical to play.

   Also at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, there will be a parents meeting for seventh and eighth-grade students at the high school for those who are interested in playing volleyball.

   The next day, Wednesday, Aug. 22, is the first day of practice for seventh and eighth-grade volleyball players. Practice begins at 9 a.m. at the LES gymnasium.

   These students also must have completed physicals to practice.
