Robert A. Moak, 73, of Libby

Robert A. Moak, 73, a longtime Libby resident died Saturday July 28, 2012, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  

He was born March 2, 1939, in Aberdeen, S.D. to Myron and Mary (Cure) Moak.   

He grew up and attended school in South Dakota until the age of 15 when he moved to Montana.  Bob worked as a crane operator on construction jobs for many years and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 400.  

Although his work took him many places, Libby was his home.  Bob was an avid biker and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.  

Survivors include his six children Kevin Moak of San Bernardino,  Calif.; Cindi Bryan  and husband Rodney of Springfield, Ohio; William Moak and wife Robin of Texas; Vern Moak and wife Sheila of Seattle, Wash.; Roger Moak of California; and Greg Moak of Washington; grandchildren Lisa, Barbara, Trisha, Jennifer, Rory, Jason, Kristi, Thor, Kyle, and Trevor; and a sister Helen Ahern of South Dakota. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory of Libby.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012. 

Celebration of Life services will be at the Elks Lodge, 220 W 4th St,in Libby, Mont. at 3 p.m.
