Walking One

Don Stevenson, right, of Auburn, Wash., is walking to benefit the blind. Stevenson, a retired minister who is known as the “Pacin’ Parson,” began his walk June 7 from Rugby, N.D., and plans to conclude his 1,400-mile trek on Sept. 7 in Auburn. Stevenson, 76, walked through Libby on Monday and Tuesday on his journey and with the aid of Andrea O’Connell, and her two sons, William, center left, and Jonathan, walked part of the trip blindfolded to represent the plight of the blind.
