Libby School Board members on Tuesday

extended the public survey as to what it should do with the Asa

Wood Elementary School property.

District 4 officials are asking the

public to take a seven-question online survey as to what should be

done with the building located at the corner of Idaho Avenue and

Highway 2.

Persons are asked to go to the Libby

Schools Web site and take the survey at

http://libby.k12.mt.us/.

The online survey also allows a space

so those taking the it may offer further input for uses or desires

for the sprawling complex with a walking path and green space where

children play soccer.

On Tuesday evening, the board opted to

extend the survey period to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. The survey

period was to end today.
