D.C Orr must appear in a Eureka court,

a date has not been determined, to answer questions regarding a

citizen’s signed complaint issued Oct. 17 for an altercation

happening Sept.21.

Chief of Police Jim Smith and Mayor

Doug Roll have confirmed the complaint.

Orr has been cited for careless driving

on City Service Road near an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

job site. EPA Remedial Project Manager Mike Cirian said the

contracted worker for the agency informed him of the incident and

thought Orr was going to run him down with his vehicle.

“This is crazy talk,” Orr said when he

was asked about the allegations. All complaints issued must be

investigated by the Libby Police Department.

No charges have been filed at this

time.
