Janie McNair, 57, of Libby died

Wednesday March 9, 2011 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in

Kalispell. She was born Oct. 17, 1953 in Havre, to William and Irma

Wilson Shiflett. She moved from Havre to Libby when she was

1-year-old. She grew up and attended schools in Libby, McGrade

Elementary, Libby Middle School and later Libby High School. She

received a GED and went on to college for one year.

She married Roland McNair on May 26,

1973 in Sheridan, Wyo., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day

Saints. She owned and operated her own daycare business and the

Snappy Cab Co. in Libby. She loved to square dance, bowl, play

cards and board games and playing bingo with her friends. Her

mother Irma, father Bill, sister Billie and step-mother Joanne

preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Roland

McNair of Libby; daughter Irma Sibert of Great Falls; grandson

Dalton Sibert of Great Falls; sister Lorrie Kier of Santa Monica,

Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be Friday April 1, 2011

at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Local

arrangements are by Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in

Libby.
