Ruie J. Anderson

Ruie J. Anderson, 91 of Libby died from

natural causes on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011 at the Libby Care

Center.

He was born July 17, 1919 in Drummond,

Idaho to Leelen and Leah Anderson. He grew up and attended school

in Jerome, Idaho.

He entered the U.S. Army on June 12,

1942 and was honorably discharged on Aug. 3, 1945. He married

Esther Denowh in December 1966. Ruie and Esther made their home in

Valier where Ruie owned and operated a bee business. They lived in

Valier for 15 years.

Ruie retired in 1985. Ruie and Esther

spent their winters in Texas and summers in Libby. In 2005, they

moved to Spokane, Wash., where they lived until moving to Libby in

2009.

Ruie enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles

and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Esther of

Libby; children, Ron Denowh and wife Candi of Libby; and Kathy

Myhre of Libby; brother, Keith Anderson of Idaho; sister, Clair

Davis of Idaho; six grandchildren, Toni Decker and husband Russ of

Kalispell; Evie Michael and husband Dale of Spokane.; Linette

Craver and husband Chris of Kalispell; Jeana Hammack of Pasco,

Wash.; Ronda Denowh-Smith and husband Kevin of Spokane; and Nick

Payton of Sulton, Wash.

Services will be held at a later date.

Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled

arrangements.
