Edith Breitenstein

Edith B. Tiffany Breitenstein, 70,

passed away on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 at her home in Troy in the

Yaak. She was born in Eureka on April 22, 1940 to Merton and Mandy

(Clemons) Tiffany. She was the second to the youngest of 15

children. She attended school in Eureka.

In August 1956, she married Kenneth

Albert Breitenstein and they moved to the Yaak. She liked to hunt,

fish, go camping and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her

daughter and grandchildren, driving in the mountains, picking cones

and mushroom hunting. She loved her kitty, Junior, and spent a lot

of time with him.

She was preceded in death by her

parents; 14 brothers and sisters; and a son, Kenneth Lee, in May

1992.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth

Breitenstein, Yaak; daughter, Elizabeth “Betty” Young and husband

Brad, Libby; grandson, Brian Jetton, wife Linda Buff and daughter

Dustina, Kalispell; granddaughter, Mandy Breitenstein-Amos and

husband Matt, Kalispell; two great-granddaughters, Thana Stasha and

RaeLee Zee Amos – both of Kalispell; a favorite nephew, Raymond

Stevens, Spokane, Wash.; nephew, Archie Kinney, Troy; niece, Karen

LaChapelle, Fortine; and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Many friends also mourn her passing,

including best friends Barbara Thorn, Spokane, and Sandy Downy,

Libby.

Services will be held at a later date.

Schnackenberg & Nelson Funeral Home in Libby handled

arrangements.
