Tennis organization honors instructor

Longtime tennis instructor Corky Teska of Libby will be recognized as a 25-year member of the Professional Tennis Registry during an international tennis symposium on Feb. 18-24 at Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Teska has taught a local youth tennis class over the summer for the past 15 years. He earned his PTR certification a quarter-century ago at Hilton Head.

Teska, who is currrently living in Arizona over the winter months, said he will not be able to attend the event but expressed appreciation for the recognition.

PTR is the largest global organization of tennis teaching professionals with more than 14,000 members in 121 countries.
