Myrtle J. Pollard Welch

Myrtle J. Pollard Welch, 97, passed away in Hamilton on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011.

“Myrt” was raised in Minnesota but was known by many friends and neighbors in her Montana communities of Harlem, Libby, and Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Pollard and Orren Welch – both from Libby; son, Jerry; and grandson, Tobin.

She is survived by two sisters and her remaining six children, Tom and wife Janet of Shoreline, Wash.; Bob and wife Karen of Pocatello, Idaho; Mary Ann and husband Jim Humphreys of Hamilton; Jean Waits of Jackson, Ga.; Donna and husband Duane Sargent of Lincoln and Bouse, Ariz.; and Joyce Bolster of Highlands Ranch, Colo. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A private service is planned for her burial in Libby.
