David Hoot Grandstaff

David Hoot Grandstaff, 52, died on Dec. 19, 2010 at his home in New Orleans, La., of heart failure.

He was born on June 1, 1958.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Grandstaff of Carson City, Nev.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; and a brother.

He spent many years in Alaska logging and moved to Libby in 1988. He moved to New Orleans where he worked in the movie industry.

Dave is deeply missed by many good friends of Libby and New Orleans.
