Libby boys can't keep up with Pirates

Polson continued its winning ways by posting an eighth straight victory on Saturday night after downing Libby, 64-33.

The Pirates led 19-6 after the opening quarter and then poured on the offense in the second half to win by 31.

Libby could get nothing going offensively in the first half with just eight points on the scoreboard.

Kelly May and Garrett Craig each scored nine points to lead Libby scorers.

Polson went to 6-1 in the conference, 13-4 overall.

Libby (3-4, 9-8) heads to Whitefish on Thursday for the regular-season finale.
