Letter: Top medical care right here in Libby
Dear Editor:
I would like to comment on the
excellent medical care that I received this winter in our own town
of Libby.
Dr. Brad Black and his staff at the
Center for Asbestos Releated Disease went above and beyond my
expectations for concern for my care, even though the possible root
of the problem was not asbestos exposure, but a combination of
issues.
The staff at prompt care and the
emergency room at St. John’s that I came to visit on an almost
regular basis again went out of their way to assist me with my
persistent problems. Dr. Barstadt, Dr. Heppe, Dr. Nicholetto, Tony
Fantozzi and the excellent nurses and staff, Jay, Erin, Dave,
Stacey and all the rest again, worked to make my stays
comfortable.
Dr. Gardner and Amanda, thank you as
you had the most difficult task of keeping up with my medical needs
on a daily basis.
I just wanted to let everyone know what
excellent medical facilities that we have right here in Libby. It
has been a long and difficult winter for me and without their
compassionate help and caring, I don’t know if I would have
survived until spring.
Those of us whose condition has been
complicated with asbestos disease and even those who do not have
this issue should be thankful that we live where we do. Nowhere
else would a patient get such excellent service and personal
care.
