Megan Wedel

Megan Wedel, daughter of Jeff and Julie Wedel of Libby, has been awarded the Betty Wheeler scholarship for $575 for the 2010-11 academic year at Eastern Washington University.

The award is given to students that are majoring in music.

Wedel graduated from Libby High School two years ago, where she was involved in volleyball, basketball, softball and band. She was also a member of student council and National Honor Society.

She is currently attending EWU where she is studying music education.
