An AARP Driver Safety Program course, sponsored by St. John’s Lutheran Hospital, is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 27 at 8:30 a.m., at Libby Christian Church.

AARP developed the eight-hour classroom refresher course, formerly known as “55 Alive,” to help drivers 50 years of age or older to improve their skills and prevent accidents. Volunteer instructors recruited and trained by AARP conduct the course. There is no written exam. The course instructors will be Joyce Goss, Avis Winslow and Rick Hunting.

The fee for the two-session course is $12 for AARP members, $14 for non-members (check or money orders only).

To register, call Cindy Peek with St. John’s weekdays at 293-0100, ext. 0. Registration is limited.
