THS girls fall on road in 3 games to Stillwater
The Troy High School volleyball team took to the road again on Tuesday and fell in a nonconference match to Stillwater Christian, 25-22, 25-9, 26-24.
Playing in Kalispell, the Lady Trojans were competitive in the first and third games. Stillwater had advantages of 37-27 in kills and 5-1 in blocks to go along with 10 ace serves.
Kimmy Klin and Jordan Williams each had eight kills to lead Troy in the hitting department. Williams also had three ace serves. Alyssa Olds had all 24 set assists and Michaela Curry had the team’s lone block. Megan Cummings finished with 11 digs.
The Lady Trojans (2-7) play host on Saturday to Ronan at 11 a.m., and Plains at 3 p.m. Both junior varsity and varsity teams will see action.
Troy heads up to Eureka on Thursday.
