Wolf impact panel includes Bennett

Montana Rep. Gerald Bennett of Libby will be among the panelists taking part in a wolf impact hearing with U.S. Rep. Denny Rehberg on Wednesday in Kalispell.

The hearing is scheduled to run from 10 a.m.-noon at Flathead Valley Community College in the Arts and Technology Department’s large meeting room.

State Sen. Bruce Tutvedt of Kalispell will serve as emcee.

Other panelists include Gary Wardell of Safari Club International; Wayne Slaght of the Montana Stockgrowers Association; Chuck Hunt of Flathead Wildlife Incorporated; Mike Meuli, cattle rancher; Ed Jonas, cattle rancher; Clarice Ryan of Montanans for Multiple Use; Kirk Murphy of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation; Jason Tounsley of the Montana Bow Hunters Association; and Toby Bridges of Lobo Watch.

Joe Maurier of Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks was invited but his participation was unconfirmed.
