Kootenai River Rhythm concert set for Nov. 13 at Memorial Center

The annual Kootenai River Rhythm

concert returns to the Libby Memorial Center on Saturday, Nov. 13

with the usual cast along with new faces.

The “Big Swing Band with Alan Lane,”

including Brenda Nagode, Ty Nagode, Frank Chiaverini, Ben Palmer

and Dr. Bill Cuskelly, as well as vocalist Julie Meyer, will

highlight the performance.

The Men of Troy also return along with

the Going to the Sun Voices. Other performers include violinist

Linda Kuntz, vocalists Kathy Ague, Nita Smith, Sharon Scott Smith

and blues pianist Tony Smith, who also serves as concert

director.

Tickets are $15 (including desserts)

and available at Cabinet Books and Music in Libby and the Hot Club

in Troy. Organizers encourage people to purchase tickets in advance

because it traditionally sells out. The doors open at 6 p.m., for

desserts with the performance to follow at 7 p.m.
