The Libby Loggers American Legion baseball team is raising money through a calcutta for the Sweet 16 of the NCAA men’s basketball playoffs on Wednesday, March 24 at 7 p.m., at Treasure Mountain Casino.

The calcutta will feature the final 16 teams in a live auction on that evening. A list of teams and rankings will be available at the event and the order that teams are auctioned off will be determined by organizers. The organizers and an official auctioneer will have final ruling on any bidding disputes.

Team buyers must pay in full at the end of the calcutta. All prize money will be mailed to winners by April 9. The Loggers baseball program will take 15 percent off the top of the pot as its fundraiser. Payout amounts include 35 percent to the champion, 20 percent to the runner-up, 10 percent to each of the two teams that lose in the Final Four and 10 percent to the lowest remaining seed after the Sweet 16.
