Lady Logger Mee makes all-state hoops team

Libby High School senior Jackie Mee wraps up her impressive Lady Logger basketball career with inclusion on the Class A all-state team.

Mee averaged 19.5 points and 9.4 rebounds during the regular season – both team highs. She also had 39 blocks, made 43-of-117 3-pointers (36.8 percent) and came away with 26 steals.

Kayla DeWit and Kelsey DeWit of Columbia Falls, and Breanne Kelley of Polson were other players out of the Northwestern A to make the team.

In the conference, Mee was included on the first team along with junior teammate Jaime Gilden. LaRona Luscher, senior, was named to the second team while juniors Alysha Martin and Logan Best were honorable mention selections.

For the boys, Libby’s Kelly May, junior, was honored on the second team. T.J. Benson, senior, and Alex Cislo, junior, were honorable mention picks.

In District 7-B, Troy senior Brian Hammrich was a first-team selection. Another Trojan senior, Jake Alexander, made the team as an honorable mention pick.

From the Lady Trojans’ squad, junior Jackie Pepiot was an honorable mention selection.
