Turner Mountain Ski Area still open

The Turner Mountain Ski Area near Libby continues to operate despite a below-average season for snowfall.

The ski area’s Bruce Zwang said Wednesday morning that “it’s actually been very good skiing. The groomers have been doing a phenomenal job. There’s not a tremendous amount of snow but the skiing has been wonderful.”

The ski area is open Friday through Sunday. The slopes received a couple of inches of snow over the past few days and the forecast shows a reasonable chance for more this weekend.
