Sports Update: Libby boys take out Bulldogs, 48-38
The Libby High School boys basketball team survived a rocky third quarter to defeat Whitefish, 48-38, on Saturday night in a Northwestern A matchup.
The Loggers opened the second quarter with a 9-0 run to take control but lost the lead in the third. Whitefish put together a 9-0 run of its own and took a 27-25 lead. But LHS finished the quarter strong and carried that momentum into the fourth to win by 10.
