Letter: Former dispatcher believes in Thrasher

Dear Editor:

I was a dispatcher in Troy for many years and worked with John Thrasher. He a good police officer. He knows and understands the people of Troy. He understands small-town living.

If he would of done something that actually hurt the community, I would say no, but he didn’t … he made a mistake as all of us do.

I believe that most people are very happy with his return because they know how much he cares about Troy and his community. That is what is really important after all.

So, how about we stop judging and be happy that Troy will have a couple of good officers who care about Troy and its people!
