Sports Update: Trojan boys down T. Falls in OT
Ryan Rayson’s free throws and Jake Alexander’s 3-pointers proved to be key components in Troy’s 64-54 overtime victory on Thursday night over Thompson Falls.
Rayson sank 11-of-13 foul shots as part of a 22-point night for the Trojans. Alexander’s 15 points included five in overtime and three 3-pointers. Brian Hammrich also hit double figures with 10 points.
Troy led 29-25 at halftime and the game was tied by the time the fourth quarter started. The Trojans controlled the OT to win running away.
Troy plays host to Superior on Saturday. Varsity boys are expected to start at around 6 p.m.
