Letter: Troy needs officials to clean up our town

Dear Editor:

I just read your top story (“Troy’s new officers under microscope,” Jan. 15, page 1). If Troy isn’t slightly upset over hiring an officer who is an embarrassment to our community and the other one, according to your paper, is a hot-head who has all the markings of over-reacting … just like some of our officials.

Mr. Banning’s worst enemy is himself. In my opinion, it would be nice and appreciated by many if you would please put in another story on this mess. And it would be nice to have the address to the POST council.

Troy needs to have some officials clean up our town. Also, why did our officials stop taking the oath of office with their hand on a Bible? Just curious.
