Libby City Council to meet Tuesday evening

The Libby City Council plans to meet for a regular meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 7 p.m., in council chambers at City Hall. The meeting was postponed from Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The agenda includes the following:

Unfinished business

• Bentgrass Subdivision, Kristin Smith

• Licensing laws from Deborah Sprankel, to go to committee

• DNRC-right-of-way Flower Creek Watershed Project, Jeremy Rank

• Department of Transportation, highway work.

New business

• Video surveillance and new patrol cars, police chief Jim Smith

• Morrison-Majerle, discussion on inflow meter at wastewater plant

• Approval of business licenses for 2010 to date

• Approval of draft ordinance, bicycle traffic safety (public invited to comment).

Various committee reports and other standard proceedings are also on the agenda.
