Boys Basketball: Trojans take care of Eureka

The Troy High School boys basketball team improved to 3-2 in District 7-B on Saturday with a 58-53 victory at Eureka.

The Trojans went on a 13-5 run in the second quarter which proved to go a long way in the final tally. The two schools played evenly over the course of the second half.

Three Trojans scored 13 points to lead offensively – Ryan Rayson, Trent Cratty and Brian Hammrich – while Jake Alexander pumped in nine.

Ryan Holder had a game-high 20 points for the Lions.

Troy (5-5 overall) heads to Thompson Falls on Thursday and will play host to Superior on Saturday at 6 p.m.
